Trainer

Job Title        : Trainer Reports to       : HR & Programme Coordinator Duty Station    : Beirut, Zahle, & Tyre. Position Type   : Consultant Training Topic: Managerial & Leadership Skills Dates and timeframe for the assignment: 1 month, from 1st of July till 31st of July, extendable if needed. Description: 6 to 8 training sessions to be conducted. Each session is divided over a 2 consecutive day period.     Job Purpose: The Trainer will be in charge of training employees on the Managerial & Leadership skills covering the below areas: Leadership                 -       Team management                 -       Delegation of tasks                 -       Developing and motivating employees                 -       Providing feedback Problem solving and Conflict resolution Time management  (Prioritizing tasks) Communication skills (Internal and External communication)   Generic Duties: The Trainer will coordinate closely with the HR Coordinator & Program Coordinator in INTERSOS in organizing the training sessions which will be conducted for INTERSOS staff based in 3 locations; Beirut, Zahle, & Tyre. This position is a short term based assignment that will end when all the deliverables mentioned below are met within the timeframe set above. Meet with HR Coordinator & Programme Coordinator to schedule the sessions, prepare the training material, approach and methodology as follows: Train the staff within the agreed topics providing proper visuals, training materials, and organizing exercises and team activities. Share the tools, slides, docs with the participants. Ensure the pre/post tests are filled by every participant. Ensure the daily attendance sheet and evaluation form are filled and signed by all the participants. Provide a report on the training by session, no later than 2 weeks from the completion of the training sessions (success stories, challenges, lessons learned, recommendations, feedback on attendees, etc…) Submit recommendations necessary for the improvement of the training or the provision of the organization’s policies and procedures where needed. Other duties as coordinated with the HR & Programme Coordinator.     Deliverables: Report on the training for each session. Participants’ daily attendance sheet. Pre-post tests     Education: -               Bachelor or Master Degree in Human Resources or related field.   Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)   Professional Competencies: Certified Trainer. Experience in NGOs is a plus. Previously delivered trainings on management and leadership. 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Computer literacy (Word, Excel, power point, etc..). Analytical and reporting skills.   Behavioural competencies: Excellent Communication skills. High level of presentation and public speaking skills. Attention to details. Good level of planning and organizing. Cultural awareness.
