Volunteer

We are seeking full time Volunteers  for the emergency response project dedicated to Syrian refugee children at risk in Lebanon. This post is based in the Bekaa region. We are looking for a dynamic person who can work on the field, handle a big responsibility, has experience with child safeguarding* (preferably in emergencies).   *Child safeguarding includes all activities that the organisation undertakes to ensure that its co-workers, operations, and programmes do no harm to children and do not expose them to the risk of harm and abuse; appropriate responses and effective management of child safeguarding concerns are in place; any concerns the organisation has about children’s safety in its own programmes and within the communities they work in are reported to the appropriate authorities. Tasks and Responsibilities include:   To perform the activities and achieve the learning objectives as proposed in the Schedule and to maintain appropriate standards of behaviour at all times.  To comply with our rules, policies, procedures, standards and instructions.   Confidentiality In the course of your Volunteering, you may have access to confidential information in relation to SOS CVI or our beneficiaries. You will be required not to misuse or wrongfully disclose this information to any person either during your internship or at any time afterwards.   Working Hours: From 8:00 AM to 16:00 PM (4 days per week)
