Logistic Officer - South Lebanon (National Only)

Under the overall management of CISP Beirut and direct supervision of the Area Administrator and project coordinators, the Logistic officer will undertake specific responsibilities that will include but not be limited to: Office and Storehouse - Supervise overall condition and provide adequate maintenance or upgrade of office furniture, systems, IT, etc… - Logistic support related to field and office needs (e.g. goods purchasing, utilities payment, etc…). - Coordination of storehouses at storage and field level of deliveries and distributions with field teams. Procurements and purchases - Purchasing for activities are carried out and completed according to CISP’s policies and principles, in a timely and cost effective manner, in coordination with Project Coordinator and Area Administrator. - Identification of potential suppliers or contractors and update of suppliers and contractors’ database. - Ensure that invoices/sales orders/receipts are submitted in line with Lebanese national law and CISP’s policies and principles. Filing and reporting -  Support Administration in performing their duties (ensure that supplies/goods/works contracts are presented in an agreed CISP format for authorization and that all contract records are well kept/filed). - Ensure validity of fire extinguishers contract’s maintenance and insurance for offices and storehouses. -  Regularly report and deliver to project coordinator and administration all the relevant documents and accountancy of the storehouses and purchases (on a monthly and quarterly base). Vehicles - Maintain Marjaayoun vehicle including cleanliness, logging, onboard equipment, fuel filling, tools and documents and regular service due dates. - Finalize and submit to Beirut office, Marjaayoun’s vehicle checked logbooks, fuel vouchers, etc... - Ensure all drivers are regularly updated (contracts, names, procedures, etc…) Other - Connection between CISP offices in the South (Marjayoun and Tyr) and Beirut office for handling documents or items, through regular trips; - Be responsible for any other logistics and supply needs that may arise from projects, supported by Marjaayoun and Tyr offices as agreed with Project coordinators, Administrators and Line Manager.           Ethic and professional practice: -  Responsible for maintaining good and professional relations and establish good contacts with vendor‐suppliers. - Respect and promote CISP's Policies and report to your line manager any non‐respect of CISP's policies amongst the teams or partner; - Report any incident or act that causes any harm to beneficiary or to others; -  Always act in line with relevant standards, codes of conduct, humanitarian principles, prevent abuse, exploitation, fraud and corruption.   Priority will be given to applicants from the area of Marjaayoun and Hasbayya.Please, note that the successful candidate MUST have a valid driving license.
