It Developer

The IT Developer is responsible for reviewing, analyzing and occasionally modifying systems including encoding, testing, debugging, documenting and installing to support application systems. Also, he is responsible for writing documentation to describe custom configuration of applications and operating procedures to liaison with 3rd party application development consultants   DUTIES Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives to support and enhance the existing Microsoft based systems Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide first level support and troubleshooting of the existing systems and applications Coordinate application development for multiple projects Assist in troubleshooting and solving software application issues Assist in managing an outsource relationship for 3rd party application development and programming consultants Assist network administrators with application installation and testing Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements Analyze data contained in the corporate database and identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems and implement solutions Provides assistance and advice to Caritas users and management in the effective use of applications and information technology Provide in-house development for some internal IT projects whenever possible Administer SQL Servers in live and test environments Write technical procedures and documentation for the new and existing applications including operations, user guide, etc. Verify database and data integrity Participate in weekly meetings with the IT team to discuss progress and issues to be resolved, and report progress on a weekly basis to the IT Manager Participate in IT project steering committees and be involved in the analysis and design phase of any new IT software development projects Assist in the creation of the system design and functional specifications for all new development projects Serve as a liaison and facilitator between all business units to assist in addressing and resolving IT software issues   COMPUTER SKILLS Experience with CRM software is a must Technical experience with systems networking, databases, Web development, and user support Good background in Data Base design in Microsoft SQL and Access Background in Microsoft .NET, C#, Visual Basic, CSS and HTML Good working knowledge skills with MS Office Products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project
