Re-Advertised - Field Mobilizer

Overall Responsibility Field Mobilizer will be responsible for assisting and providing supports to the Project coordinator and project officer in the implementation of Channels of Hope project activities.   Main Duties and Responsibilities Deliver information with the key parties in the community about the project and role of each one. Identify and assess faith leaders in the communities to be engaged in Channels of Hope trainings. Maintain regular contact with faith leader as community outreach focal point to ensure a constant flow of information and feedback. Ensure smooth communication and coordination between the faith leaders Collaborate closely with the faith leaders to ensure their availability in the training and sub projects’ planning and implementation. Ensure regularly documents for outreach and community mobilization activities. Strong understanding in child protection concept and practices. Evaluating the project’s activities using several techniques and methods, Respecting and applying Islamic Relief policies and procedures such as “Child Protection Policy”, Perform any other task as assigned by the project coordinator.   Child Protection Policy: Commit to respect the Islamic Relief Child Protection Policy Commit to ensure the best implementation possible of the Child Protection Policy Commit to respond to any child abuse concerns following the procedures and guidelines on dealing with child’s allegation or suspicion of abuse.     Person Specifications                                                                                                                                    Experience / Education/Skills- Essential               A bachelor degree of Social Work (or any other related field) from an accredited University. Minimum of 1-2 years of relative experience in a similar -position. Solid knowledge in Child protection field Ability To Work independently with minimal supervision. Read, comprehend and interpret written materials of moderate to complex difficulty. Records management systems (both automated and paper files) to ensure accurate maintenance of files and ease of retrieval. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. IT skills                                                                                 Experienced in MS office and the ability to use software necessary for project management and reporting. General Skills                                                    V. Good technical reporting skills. Strong planning, communications and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and within a team. Diplomacy, tact & negotiation skills. Report writing skills.
