Clinical Management Of Rape (Cmr) - Trainer

he CMR Trainer will be in charge of training practitioners on the Clinical Management of Rape towards providing quality medical and psychosocial services to every survivor of rape. 1.       Dates and timeframe for the assignment: 1 month ,starting the 1st of May till the 31st of May 2.       Main tasks: The CMR Trainer will coordinate closely with the GBV Program Manager at International Medical Corps and the CMR training consultant. This position is a short term based assignment that will end when all the deliverables set in section (4) are met within the timeframe set in section (2). Meet with GBV Program Manager to schedule the sessions, prepare the training material, approach and methodology as follows: a)       Train the staff within the selected medical facilities (MD, midwife, nurse, receptionist, director, etc…) using the IRC multimedia training tool on CMR. b)       Ensure the pre/post tests are filled by every participant. c)       Ensure the daily attendance sheet and evaluation form are filled and signed by all the participants. Provide a report on the training by clinic, no later than 2 weeks from the completion of the training sessions (success stories, challenges, lessons learned, recommendations, etc…) Submit recommendations necessary for the improvement of the training or the provision of quality CMR services when needed; Visit the trained facilities no later than for supervision and evaluation (staff knowledge, turnover, management of cases, etc…) and submit a report. Other duties as coordinated with the GBV Program Manager. 3.       Deliverables: Report on the training for each clinic. Participants’ daily attendance sheet. Pre-post tests 4.       Qualifications: Medical Doctor. Experience working in and an understanding GBV in conflict/refugees context Increased knowledge of the Health and GBV context in Lebanon. Experience in training. Training on GBV topics is preferred Familiar with the IRC multimedia training tool is an asset. 5.       Experience required: A minimum of 5 years technical experience in the GBV domain. 6.       Languages and computer literacy English and Arabic – French is a plus - Excellent writing and communication skills. Computer literate - Demonstrated experience in utilization Microsoft Office.
