Senior Wash Officer

Oversee the day-to-day project implementation and ensure effective and timely completion of the WASH interventions; Provide quality control of WASH interventions;          Build the capacity of RI's partner(s) staff in WASH implementation; Assist in defining RI WASH program approach with local stakeholders; Support community mobilization and hygiene promotion sessions in the local community in collaboration with local partners; Perform and document regular monitoring of all projects sites; planned, ongoing and completed; Advise Program Director regarding activity progress and make recommendations for course correction if necessary; Provide technical assistance in preparing viable recommendations on project implementation, alternative approaches, and optimal utilization of resources that contribute effectively to the fulfilment of RI WASH program objectives, and recommendations on program, new initiatives and management issues to ensure achievement of stated objectives; Identify new program opportunities through rapid assessments and proposal development inputs and writing as indicated; Enter data collected from monitoring activities accurately and according to schedule. Assist in the identification and formulation of proposals and projects and participates in the preparation of draft project documents; Carry out specific administrative operational/control tasks for project/program activities. Participate and represent the organization in field coordination meetings as requested by the Program Director; Prepare reports to be submitted to the Program Director; Facilitate partnership and collaboration with internal and external counterparts/stakeholders, including those of RI and national partners, in order to improve the ability to collect and disseminate development data and information.
