Bln Officer - Jounieh

Overall responsibility: Insure the implementation and follow up on the BLN courses carried out inside the agricultural vocational schools and in external centers   Assignments and functions:   -          Plan, coordinate, and manage daily BLN educational activities effectively. -          Supervise and monitor the quality of implementation of BLN courses of the teachers. -          Plan and implement education outreach activities: need analysis, focus group discussions, and any other outreach and field activities. -          Map educational activities that other institutions are doing in the same area. -          Ensure timely and quality implementation of the Youth project components, providing technical assistance as needed. -          Ensure the establishment and implementation of operational work plans in the 7 schools and external centers, setting clear targets and activity plans per school/external centers. -          Work closely with the teachers to ensure the implementation of the activities as per the methodology set by the education specialist (Lesson plan planned, reports, student’s evaluation…)  -          Develop and encourage new and innovative solutions. -          Prepare comprehensive reports for each implemented BLN course including the evaluation of the teacher’s performance. -          Coordinate with the communication officer in order to properly document activities (Photos, small videos…) aligned with the donor’s requirements and AVSI’s communication guidelines. -          Work in close collaboration with the M&E Officer for data reporting and analysis. -          Responsible of maintaining the archiving system up to date (both in hardcopies and electronically). -          Report monthly on activities and results to BLN Coordinator and Youth Project Coordinator. -          Perform any other relevant duties as required.
