Together with local and international partners, and with the beneficiaries themselves, we respond to emergencies and undertake long term development work.  We work across the world to promote a better understanding of extreme poverty, and we campaign for local and global action that will help reduce this Job Summary  The Protection Training Officer, with the guidance of Protection Team Leader and Protection Program Manager, will implement protection program activities in North Lebanon, Akkar and T5.  Duties and Responsibilities   Program Development   With the guidance of the Protection Team Leader and Protection Programme Manager, participate in program development phase in accordance with the protection strategy including but not limited to community-based protection, awareness raising and outreach activities, life-skill trainings, PSS (Psycho-social Support) activities, youth, children and women focused protection activities, community-based protection and social project.   Program Implementation Implement PSS activities for children, youth (boys and girls), women and men; Implement life skills trainings for youth (boys and girls), women and men; Implement community-based protection/social projects; Undertake case management when requested. Ensure that referral pathways are functional based on the norms of ethic and confidentiality. Ensure that CRM (Complaints & Response Mechanism) is rolled out and functional;   Reporting and Information Gathering Collect, store and analyse data of his/her activities; Provide necessary data and information to Protection Team Leader for reporting.   Representation and Coordination Replace the Protection Team Leader whenever necessary in Working Group and Task Force meetings.       Work Ethic Adhere to the standards of conduct outlined in the Programme Participant Protection Policy and Concern’s Code of Conduct; Support the promotion of the standards outlined in the Programme Participant Protection Policy and Concern Code of Conduct to the team and to the beneficiaries, and be committed to providing a safe working environment; Other  Any other task required by the program.   Job Requirements Degree in the social sciences: Psychology, Social Work, etc. Knowledge of protection principles in humanitarian aid; Knowledge of concepts of SGBV and CP; 2 years of experience in protection sector; 2 years of experience of delivering PSS sessions; 2 years of experience of delivering life skills training; 2 years of experience in case management Excellent communication skills, including training and facilitation; Good team player; Excellent information technology skills; Diplomacy, assertiveness and cultural sensitiveness; Fluency in English and Arabic written and oral.
