Field Mobilizer

Overall Responsibility Field Mobilizer will be responsible for assisting and providing supports to the Project coordinator and project assistant in the implementation of project activities in schools in South area.   Main Duties and Responsibilities Identify and assess the beneficiaries from students in schools to be engaged in the project activities, Develop capacity building plans for the activators’ team to provide them with technical skills around assessment, implementing psychosocial support activities, open days and evaluating the behaviors of the students, Identify the targeted schools with psychosocial needs and make recommendations for the psychosocial and art clubs’ activities in the schools, Spread information for the beneficiaries about the purpose and importance of psychosocial support activities in schools’ clubs, Design schedule of activities on weekly/ monthly basis on the activities and services provided to students in schools with all the required documents, Assess with the project assistant and activators’ team to order the necessary tools and materials for the activities’ implementation, Gather feedback at the community level regarding project service and share information with the project coordinator and assistant, Participate in weekly/monthly reporting and planning meetings with the activators and project assistant, Archiving and Filing all data and documents gathered by the team, Evaluating the project’s activities using several techniques and methods, Respecting and applying Islamic Relief policies and procedures such as “Child Protection Policy”, Perform any other task as assigned by the project coordinator.   Child Protection Policy: Commit to respect the Islamic Relief Child Protection Policy Commit to ensure the best implementation possible of the Child Protection Policy Commit to respond to any child abuse concerns following the procedures and guidelines on dealing with child’s allegation or suspicion of abuse.   Person Specifications                                                                                                                                    Experience / Education/Skills- Essential               A bachelor degree of Social Work (or any other related field) from an accredited University. Minimum of 1-2 years of relative experience in a similar -position, preferred- with NGOs/ INGOs. Experience in working with Children, solid knowledge in Child protection field Ability To Work independently with minimal supervision. Read, comprehend and interpret written materials of moderate to complex difficulty. Records management systems (both automated and paper files) to ensure accurate maintenance of files and ease of retrieval. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. IT skills                                                                                 Experienced in MS office and the ability to use software necessary for project management and reporting. General Skills                                                    V. Good technical reporting skills. Strong planning, communications and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and within a team. Diplomacy, tact & negotiation skills. Report writing skills.
