Project Coordinator

  Job Title:Project Coordinator Reports to: Prevention Manager Department:Prevention Job Location: Akkar, BintJbeil, and Marjaayoun with one field visit to Beirut per month   Job Summary:          The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the implementation of a life skills program in schools and community centers in three areas: Akkar, BintJbeil, and Marjaayoun                                                                                                   Tasks and duties: Coordinating the implementation of a life skills program in around 20 schools and community centers in Akkar, BintJbeil, and Marjaayoun.  Attending life skills training workshops. Coordinating with every school or community center in the three areas the schedule of life skills’ lessons. Coordinating with every teacher/educator in each school or community center in the three areas the schedule of life skills’ lessons. Monitoring the implementation of lessons in every school/community center. Providing support and regular feedback to teachers/educators implementing life skills lessons. Following up with teachers/educators implementing life skills’ lessons. Ensuring the effective implementation of the program through class observations and co-lead sessions with teachers/educators. Delivering life skills’ lessons targeting young people. Supporting teachers/educators in the design and implementation of a community service project in their school/community center. Coordinating with Skoun partner organization in each area. Contributing to the development of educational and information materials needed by teachers/educators Handling the details of printing materials needed in schools/community centers implementing the program. Preparing regular reports for the Prevention Manager on the work progress and implemented activities. Candidates must have a car for transportation to be able to circulate between the three mentioned areas . Throughout the entire duration, candidates must be able to equally divide work load among the three mentioned areas, each month.
