Reporting Associate

  Job Purpose: The reporting associate is responsible for reporting, processing and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data concerning the activities implemented by INTERSOS.   Generic Duties: Maintain accurate databases by monitoring and reviewing regular sources of information Update on a weekly and monthly basis the internal and external databases. Process weekly, monthly and quarterly internal and external qualitative and quantitative reports. Support in the development of monitoring tools and in their analysis Deliver trainings to field staff on data processing  Be available to participate in sectorial meetings and trainings organized by INTERSOS or external stakeholders Accomplish any other tasks requested by the PO and PM. Accomplish any other task requested by the PO or the PM.   Monitoring and Reporting Provide daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly quantitative and qualitative updates on the base of the tools adopted. Ensure the effective adoption of internal and external monitoring systems.                                                                                                                                                            Other Specific Duties: (Can be adapted to the particularities of the job location and the requirement of the project. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hire).   Develop qualitative and quantitative monitoring tools in line with donors’ requirements for internal and external use. Contribute to the preparation and the revision of data and M&E reports related to field activities (monthly/quarterly donor reports and other ad hoc reports). Update the directory of services and list of activities provided and implemented by INTERSOS on the base of inputs provided by field staff for internal and external use.  Compel with donors’ monitoring requirement adopting ad hoc monitoring tools, systems and database (ex. Activity Info –AI, Internal Reporting System – IRS and the Refugee Assistance Information System – RAIS). Attend trainings, where necessary, provided internally or externally in accordance with donor and INTERSOS requirements. Conduct trainings and regular field visit for staff monitoring and reporting capacity building on internal and external tools. Be the focal point for collecting and processing data received from field staff ensuring qualitative and quantitative consistency. Support field staff in presenting data processed. Prepare qualitative and quantitative reports analysing and evaluating data received from field staff. Prepare ad hoc documents on implementation and progress of activities vs. target. Contribute to the development of new project proposals covering log frame, targets and indicators. Respond to periodic donor and internal requests for additional information on project activities, performance, and results. Participating in sectorial meetings representing INTERSOS as needed. Support in the preparation of standard document (ex. Memorandum of Understanding). Support in the translation of document when necessary. Support in the preparation of basic visibility materials (mainly content) in order to compel with donors and internal requirements. Liaise with colleagues in charge of reporting, monitoring and evaluation for sharing information & knowledge. Assist and support all other projects in South and coordinate the accomplishments of handled tasks. Take part in meetings organized by INTERSOS office or other offices as per management request.     Education: University degree in Information Technology, Statistics, or related field   Competencies:  (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)   Professional Competencies: -       Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. -       Computer literacy (Word, Excel – proficient in formulas and charting, outlook). -       Analytical and reporting skills. -       Good level of numeracy.   Behavioural competencies: -                      High level of confidentiality and respect of data protection protocols; -                      Attention to details. -                      Ability to work under pressure, independently, and with limited supervision. -                      Initiative, flexibility and willing to learn. -                      Good communication skills.   Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English. Fluency in written and spoken Arabic.
