Field Supervisors (2 Positions Needed)

About ARK Group DMCC:ARK Group DMCC (including ARK’s Beirut-based branch) is a stabilization and development consultancy that specialises in evidence-based programme implementation and the provision of research and consultancy services. ARK has been operational in Lebanon since 2009 and has worked with a number of clients such as international embassies and INGOs. About the Project: ARK is implementing a year-long quantitative research project (four surveys targeting 5000 respondents each carried out on a quarterly basis) is support of a major international organisation’s stabilisation and development efforts in Lebanon. Major Responsibilities:• Manage a team of 12 Data Collectors operating throughout Lebanon and coordinate their movements. • Assign selected clusters, as per sampling plan, in light of logistical requirements. • Coach Data Collectors on best practices for conducting surveys.• Maintain contact with interviewers, and take reports after each work session.• Help Data Collectors solve problems in the field.• Lead on recruitment for focus groups. • Assist in continued training of Data Collectors, as necessary. • Follow-up on the security situation in areas of interest and provide daily feedback to Data Collectors. • Maintain the security and confidentiality of all information collected from respondents.• Provide constructive feedback to supervisors about interviews and data collection procedures. • Participate in field trips regularly. Requirement:• Degree in relevant field of study – Social Science, Political Science, Development Studies, etc. • Previous experience working on large-scale surveys. • Proven managerial skills• The ability and willingness to travel to all areas of interest • Excellent command of English and Arabic. • Strong interpersonal skills
