Operations Manager

The operations manager is responsible for the day to day management of operations. S/he ensures the implementation of the Mental Helath programme activities through developing needed policy and procedures and related forms, and key performance indicators. In addition s/he is responsible for the information management and flow among different team members and supervision of deliverable and work progress as per agreed upon actions plans. The operations manager is also responsible for developing and managing HR policies. Responsibilities Develop needed Human Resources policies and related forms Develop needed SOPs for the programme’s operations Develop Key Performance Indicators Conduct internal audit of the programme’s operation in relation to Key Performance Indicators Develop an Information management system and ensure proper flow of information between different staff members Monitor the deliverables of different units and team members in line with the annual workplan and ensure cross-unit coordination and cooperation Support the Head of the programme in financing, HR, budgeting, development of proposals and reports. Management of procurements Oversight of recruitment processes and performance management systems ensuring link of job design with recruitment, performance management and career development. Deliverables HR policies developed SOPs developed KPIs developed Quarterly reports on the KPI developed Information management system developed   Minimum qualifications and professional experience: - University Degree: MS in management or business administration, experience in health management is a plus - 5 to 10 years of relevant job experience; - Excellent management, communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills; conflict resolutions and problem-solving skills; flexibility in timing; cultural-sensitivity - Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Proficiency in Arabic and English; French is a plus
