Hygiene Promoter (Hp)

Reports to: Project Manager Duty Station: Beqaa Position Type: Full Time Job Purpose: The Hygiene Promoter will be responsible for all the activities concerning hygiene and environmental communities’ awareness campaigns and vector control by demonstrations, sessions and surveys delivery. Generic Duties: Ensure that technical quality and standards are considered during the HP planning and implementation as required; Collect technical information pre, middle term and post the hygiene interventions (KAP) in ITS and private accommodations to report to the WASH Manager for the analysis of hygiene associated risks and opportunities. Conduct community awareness sessions on hygiene, environmental, cleaning, solid waste management and vector control in the WASH intervention locations in coordination with the WASH Officer and under the supervision of the International WASH Manager. Provide the refugee targeted population with technical inputs and guidance on water, sanitation and solid waste facilities management, use and maintenance. Manage the Hygiene promotion related logistics, equipment and material; Ensure that community/beneficiary feedback are collected and reported on regular basis; Assist the water quality testing procedure and transportation (bacteriological and chemical quality); Any other task not here listed and necessary to the projects achievement in the sector and area of assignment. Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)  Professional Competencies: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience. Computer literacy (Word, Excel) Reporting skills   Behavioural competencies: High confidentiality, respect and non-discrimination attitude. Ability to work in field and with beneficiaries. Strong diplomatic, interpersonal and communications skills.
