Lebanon Reforestation Initiative Terms of Reference Film Production Consultant        I.            Introduction  1-      Project Background Information The Lebanon Reforestation Initiative (LRI) is a Lebanese NGO registered at the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities under no. 1186 on 18 June 2014. LRI started as a project launched in 2010 by the United States Forest Service (USFS) Office of International Programs (IP) through the support and funding of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). LRI's mission is to restore Lebanon's native forests and to instill commitment to reforestation and wildfire prevention and response, through capacity building of local communities and organizations         II.            Purpose of the Consultancy LRI seeks a film producer to produce: Short videos (TVR, awareness raising) 5 – 10 mins documentaries Making off Interviews Success stories Others             III.            Qualifications Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience Ability to work under tight deadlines, under pressure, use initiative and manage own workload Experience of using newer version of Final cut Pro or similar software for editing digital video Experience working with local or international NGOs Familiarity with USAID’s communications guidelines Flexibility and responsiveness in collaborating with the communication team in finalizing products. Proven ability to deliver quality production on time Spoken and written fluency in Arabic and English Strong oral and written communications skills Strong organizational skills and attention to details                IV.           Education   Postgraduate or bachelor’s degree in communications, media, or related fields. Languages: English and Arabic           V.            Individuals should provide the following: CV; Cover letter; At least three references including name, address, email, and telephone number from previous clients that LRI can contact; Provide two three- to five-minute- films, on a related theme, produced and edited by the applicant.
