Is responsible for the overall operation of the medical supplies store to which he/she is assigned;
Coordinates with Field Pharmacist in respect to scheduling and the distribution of medical supplies to Health Centers;
Prepares the medical supplies for dispatch to Health Centers assisted by packers assigned to the medical store;
Prepares packing lists and load notes for all store demand notes prepared for distribution to Health Centers;
Ensures supplies are properly located, labeled, and identified inside the medical supplies store;
Keeps track of shelf life of medical items stored and coordinates with HD on slow/non-moving items for possible circulation to other Fields before they expire; ensures the disposal of expired medical supplies in accordance with Agency technical instruction and zoning arrangement.
Forecasts possible stock outs of medical items and alerts concerned staff in PLD and the Field Pharmacist;
Is responsible for safety, security and cleanliness of the assigned warehouse under his/her custody;
May replace the Supply Officer (Warehousing) during the latter's absence;
Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
