Business & Employability Manager

SPARK is opening a pilot program in Lebanon supporting Lebanese and Syrian youth to further personal development planning in the field of seeking private sector employment or starting or improving their own (micro) enterprise.  We are looking for a dynamic individual who has experience initiating and running his/her own small or medium enterprise with solid experience in the private sector. This is a 7-month position that is located in Beirut with frequent travels to Tripoli – extension is possible if project is successful.   Business & Employability Manager Main tasks and Responsibilities: Responsible for the coordination of a new pilot programme aiming to assist youth in finding private sector employment or start or improve their own MSME; Responsible for hiring and coordinating entrepreneurial coaches; Oversee the progress of personal development plans for up to 350 youth participants in the field of furthering their employment potential and/or plans for starting or enhancing their own (M)SME; Responsible for conducting a pre and post assessment of the selected beneficiaries; Represent the organization in coordination meetings with the co-implementing organizations under the same grant programme;  Other tasks as required to ensure the successful implementation of the project(s).   Requirements and Skills: Holder of an MBA in Business, Finance, Management or closely related fields. Has desirably minimum 10 years experience in running a self owned business and/or working for an entrepreneurial company in Lebanon or Syria; Strong background in business skills, preferred experience in business coaching or professional development coaching ; Experienced in training and facilitation of group processes; Excellent organizational skills; accurate and detail oriented; Strong computer skills, especially word processing and spreadsheet; Ability to lead and function in a team setting and to coordinate with project personnel; Open to working with people from different backgrounds and nationalities; Strong writing and reporting skills, including strong command of Arabic and English languages; Good communication and social skills.   SPARK Offers:  International and dynamic working experience; Training opportunities; Salary based on relevant experience and education – maximum 3,600 USD gross
