Special Educator

Special Educator's main tasks:            To conduct individual sessions to Syrian children/youth presenting Learning Difficulties, Behavioral Disorders and/ or intellectual disabilities To conduct psycho-education sessions with parents of children being followed-up. To participate in the global evaluation conducted by the multidisciplinary team To draft detailed reports for each child. To participate in the Team supervisor sessions conducted at the center. To coordinate with the project coordinator and other specialists.   Skills: Follows Restart Center policies and by laws Believes in concepts of human rights Respects each team member’s position Able to adapt to special situations or demands from supervisor Good communication skills Ability to work with patients from different backgrounds (cultural, ethnic….) Excellent command of English Ability to write reports
