Security Guard (3 Vacancies)

Job Purpose: The Security Guard is responsible for the security of warehouse facilities, ensuring a professional and efficient implementation of all activities.    Specific Duties:   A Security Guard is responsible for the security of the warehouse facility. Preventative maintenance and cleaning for assets on site to ensure no future breakdowns. According to the Checklist provided by the Warehouse Officer, the Security Guard has to make sure that the site facilities are in good condition and properly functioning. Follow the Safety Measurements defined by the Warehouse Officer. The security Guard has to respect the working time scheduled by the Warehouse Officer. The Security Guard should be wearing the Visibility Uniform assigned by the Warehouse Officer. The Security Guard has to follow any other instructions provided by the Warehouse Officer. Ensure the security of the INTERSOS staff in the centres and during the outreach activities. Ensure the security of Case Worker during the emergency cases assistance visits May be asked to perform other related duties as identified by his supervisor.   Competencies:  (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)   Professional Competencies: -      2 years of relevant Security Guard experience -      Knowledge in warehousing safety and security principles. -      Valid Lebanese driving licence -      Applying to INTERSOS standards, policies and guidelines -      Ability for reacting in emergency and security situations -      Good knowledge of local area -      Knowledge in first aid and extinguish fire Behavioural competencies: -      Punctuality and respect for applicable rules and procedures; -      Planning and Organizing skills -      Flexibility and ability to follow strict instructions.
