Accelerator & Incubation Program Manager

Overview: We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to organize and coordinate the acceleration and incubation pillar of Agri-Food Innovation Hub program. You will be managing the operations and administration, provide strategic guidance to team members in ways that promote the organization’s culture and program objectives. You will also oversee the progress of operations.   The Accelerator & Incubation Manager will be the prime interface for entrepreneurs and responsible for managing the operations, planning, marketing and development of the Smart Agri-Food Acceleration and incubation Program. Ensuring the day-to-day smooth running of the program, with high levels of client satisfaction focusing on creating the best possible environment in which smart agri-food related startups can grow and succeed.  This position requires a team player with leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, a professional and positive attitude, organization and dependability. This is a challenging role but at the same time makes available endless opportunities and learning for the candidate.   Key Responsibilities & Tasks: The Manager will be completely responsible for leading the acceleration and incubation operations. This would be inclusive of the following: Overall planning the activities, resources, budgets and operations of the Incubator. Pre-incubation: Deal Flow generation, Screening of proposals, Research, Patent landscaping, working with entrepreneurs for their proposals, resending proposals to the next level for selecting incubates. Acceleration and Incubation: Lead formation of new business and provide incubation facilities to enable commercialization of the business: To induct new entrepreneurs; create Incubation plans and implement them, assist in writing business plans, keep track of the Incubation process; help the startups prepare proposals for getting funding, etc. Events and workshops: Plan various workshops/events/webinars for the Incubator, and execute the same with the help of team members and external consultants Mentor Network: Develop the mentor network for the Incubator and work with them to make the Incubated venture successful. Partnerships: Forge partnerships with other organizations for providing services to the startups or the organization; marketing the program, sponsorships…etc. Liaison with the government and industries. Marketing the accelerator/Incubator and Business Development: Be the face of the Incubator and actively promote it through various channels etc. Funding for Incubatee Projects: Work with co-ordination with senior management for setting up grant support and seed funds for start-ups. Building and Managing the Incubator team. Prepare all required reports and maintain a comprehensive set of records on all tenant activity, client activity and staff involvement in the process of tenant recruitment. Administration of the accelerator / Incubator and any other activities which requires the manager’s involvement This position is for a 2-year contract which can be extended based on project need.
