Livelihood Officer

Plan, monitor and report on skills training and livelihood support project components (Skill Based Training Courses; Apprenticeships; Youth Led Activities) in close coordination with livelihood field coordinators across project sites Ensure follow up with project partners, monitoring of attendance and performance to ensure that activities are delivered according to the expected results and the terms of contracts Support field coordinators in liaising between communities and ANERA office- ensuring the maintenance of good relationships  with beneficiaries and local leaders/authorities Build strong relationship with local partners and youth target groups and represent the project before the partners and other stakeholders  when required Support field coordinators to identify partners and linkages (private sectors, NGO, and local government partners) to support youth and livelihoods- related interventions. Handle the daily follow up on the project’s activities in the field, and ensure that the technical aspects of the project are running in accordance with the project’s objectives and strategies Ensure smooth implementation, and effective use of the available resources Ensure regular, good quality reporting for internal use on the status of on-going programming Lead in conducting market assessment of the areas of intervention and determining program intervention priorities based on needs and existing resources. Assist in the recruitment of qualified livelihoods staff as needed (trainers, and apprenticeship mentors). Assist in developing tracking and monitoring tools to ensure SBTC program implementation is on track and of highest quality.
