Meal Officer

Under the supervision and guidance of the Programs Coordinator and supported by Regional Technical Advisor for MEAL, the MEAL Officer will be responsible for ensuring high quality MEAL for all projects and programs managed and implemented by CRS/Lebanon and its outreach countries. S/he will be expected to work closely with CRS staff and partners on establishing MEAL systems and processes that are user-oriented, responsive to management and donor needs, and appropriate to project complexity.   Tasks include:lead/support design and implementation of need assessments, gender analysis, stakeholder analysis, etc.; develop/support development of Results Frameworks, ProFrames, M&E Plans, and MEAL narrative in proposals; work with project teams to establish and use transparent, high quality accountability mechanisms throughout project cycle.; establish and maintain excellent collaborative working relationships with local partners; promote appropriate involvement of partners at all stages of the project cycle, especially MEAL activities. Specific Requirements: Lebanese citizenship; Excellent English and Arabic, including written (French is a plus); 3years of NGO experience. Bachelor’sdegree in a directly related field, such as development; Master’s degree is a plus Shortlisted candidates are expected to undergo: (1) a written test on January 26th, 2017, (2) if successful, an interview on February 8th, 2017.
