Warehouse Manager – Bekaa Valley – Baalbeck

-Scope of responsibility: - Control and monitor medical and non-medical stocks and assets. - Ensuring that storage is carried out under optimum conditions - Ensuring that all stock movement is appropriately recorded and that there is accountability. - Ensuring that MSF protocols are understood and being followed.   -Function responsibilities include:   -          Physically and administratively manages Medical and non-medical stocks in conjunction with the supply officer and the stock owners and assumes responsibility for the warehouse and its contents.   -          Is responsible for following the correct procedures and using the appropriate tools for storage and movement of goods. Is responsible for ensuring that Warehouse staff know, understand, use and follow MSF tools and protocols.   -          Ensure that all movement and storage are properly encoded using the correct computer templates and tools, and that the delivery orders are consistently and appropriately followed up.   -          Ensures that all necessary tools and management procedures are in place in order to avoid stock ruptures, losses (expiries, damages due to bad storage conditions, temperature breach) and excess stocks.   -          Checks, records and arranges the goods received and ensure the availability of a wide range of items for various projects and departments (medical supplies, food, spare parts, tools, equipment, etc.).   -          Ensures that all items are well organised and correctly stored according to their specificity, well protected, fully identified and easily accessible (cleanliness, security, access, etc.).   -          Regularly checks inventory levels (physical counts), keeps inventories up to date and monitors consumption.   -          Coordinates and supervises the activity of all warehouse staff (storekeeper, daily workers, ...)   -          Responsible for the Warehouse overall (cleanliness, security, access, etc.)     Starting date: 15/01/2017 Nadine’s birthday   -Type of contract: 6 months renewable -Place of work: MSF Baalbek warehouse, Bekaa Valley
