 Your general responsibilities will be to: Provide technical backup, from a medical perspective, for field activities, as required. Perform daily control of ambulance and medical equipment and ensure that ambulance is ready at all times Assist the Medical Coordinator in maintaining reporting mechanisms and producing proper records and reports on all aspects of medical activities according to the demands of Lebanon Mine Action Center. Continuously check BAC Team members’ fitness for field work. The medics are to be able to carrying out their duties in the manner devised in training. This includes being correctly dressed at all times and that they have the appropriate equipment available. They are to be certified in accordance with all applicable requirements of Lebanon Mine Action Center. They are ultimately responsible for their own safety and welfare and they are to ensure that they are adequately equipped and briefed before starting work. They are to be active in encouraging and facilitating the flow of information upwards from working teams to management. Plan and execute casevac exercises together with Site Supervisor, Medical Coordinator and Operations Cell. The Medic shall always be present and alert at the team/ambulance during working hours. The medic is responsible to administer the Visitors Log in the Task Dosier and register all visitors to the site. Attend compulsory training courses Is encouraged to provide any suggestions on medical equipment used and improvements to the medical bag. Report fit and on time for work   Notes: ملاحظات أخرى   You will be part of either Mines Clearance Team or Battle Area Clearance Team and you will be working closely with Medical Coordinator, Team Leader and the Site Supervisor within South Lebanon. You will receive Mines Clearance medical refreshment training if you were selected from NPA expert staff. You will be accredited, if successful, by the Lebanon Mine Action Centre (LMAC). This position is funded by Japanese Embassy of Lebanon.
