The Weapon Traumatology Centre is a training centre for weapon-wounded surgery procedures set up in September 2014 by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Dar Al Chifae and Dar Al Zahra hospitals in Tripoli, North Lebanon, in agreement with the Lebanese Ministry of Health.The centre endeavours to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive clinical treatment of weapon wounded, while at the same time ensuring the transfer of know-how to surgeons and other medical personnel by an international team of health professionals from the ICRC.
ICRC is recruiting a “security guard” for the WTTC.
Job Purpose
Under the direct supervision of the Security Responsible, the security guard is the first contact to ICRC beneficiaries, he has to preserves ICRC security in all times and makes sure he reflects a good image of the ICRC.
Profile:
High school level
2 years experience in the security field
Basic knowledge of English
Good physical condition
Disciplined, willingness to strictly adhere to security guidelines
Willing to work according to assigned security schedules, i.e. night and day shifts
Common sense and ability to resolve problems
Good self control to avoid unnecessary conflicts
Maintain a descent appearance and a friendly attitude
Job tasks and Responsibilities:
Ensures the security of the personal
Ensures the security of the premises (internally and externally)
Reports any incidents directly to the security responsible
Checks the identification of all visitors before entering the WTTC/ICRC facility
Informs ICRC staff and management in case of any security concerns or threats
Writes a short and consice security report whenever there is a security incident
Ensures that the facility is free from security potential incidents (fire, thefts, flood, etc)
