Case Worker

The case worker will provide psychosocial support to beneficiaries through individual counseling and/or group therapies. Duties Provide direct psychosocial support and refer internally and externally as needed, respecting confidentiality and the right of the beneficiary Provide individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy  Provide interviews, diagnosis, reports and recommendations Help individuals with experienced emotional difficulties & mentally disturbed functions cope better Administer and interpret a variety of psychological tests and assessment instruments Conduct discussion group, focus group with individuals, families Conduct group therapies Conduct psychosocial activities Conduct awareness sessions with beneficiaries Work directly with the social worker to develop intervention plans and follow up at the home level Address needs and requests in a professional way Report any incident or act that causes any harm to beneficiary or to others Always respect a refusal of treatment Skills Adaptation to specific working conditions Capacity to work in a team and autonomously Capacity to work in an multidisciplinary and multicultural team Capacity to work under high pressure Willingness to learn new skills and/or approaches Good capacity to interact with members of the team and different communities Ability to maintain outstanding working relationships with external and internal sources Ability to show initiative and take responsibility Excellent verbal and written communication skills Specialized understanding and scientific approach to human behavior, cognitive performance, mental illness and psychosocial problems Ability to choose, conduct and report on psychological assessments for diagnosis An evidence-based approach to psychological interventions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills
