Payroll Officer

The Payroll Officer is responsible to liaise with all divisions and departments, and provide assistance to Payroll Manager for related matters.   Duties: Update and maintain payroll records Liaise with staff and management on payroll related queries Assist in enrolling employees/families in the NSSF Assist in unregistering employees from the NSSF after resignation Assist in the NSSF Report preparation on periodic basis in coordination with the Payroll Manager Prepare the NSSF Forms required for hospitalization and submit them to the NSSF for approval Prepare NSSF Certificates Prepare the employees medicines’ report on periodic basis to be submitted to the NSSF for examination Handle the payments of the approved medicines fees to the employees, as received from the NSSF in Stamp the official warning  letters from the ministry of labor Maintain leave, sickness and overtime reports Prepare the monthly payments on time Calculation and payment of exit payments Assist Payroll Manager with reconciliation and payment of payroll and group tax Update Social security & Tax office employee files in order to meet legal requirements and duties Apply the HR policies and procedures as per the Lebanese Labor Law Make sure all staff has the appropriate contract and personal files are kept up-to-date at all time Assist the HR Manager/Payroll Manager upon request Business Skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and team working skills Strong understanding of Labor law and NSSF regulations Good cultural awareness and sensitivity Highly approachable, trustworthy and confidential Ability to work under pressure  Very Good English Language level Computer Skills Must be adept in use of MS Office applications HR/Accounting software Good typing skills in Arabic
