Center Coordinator-Lebaa School

The Center Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the operations and functions of the school, and for monitoring the quality of tutoring services.   Duties Manage, evaluate and supervise effective and clear procedures for the operation and functioning of the school consistent with mission and values and goals of the school including: instructional program, building maintenance, hygiene, security & insurance system, and emergency procedures Ensure compliance with all laws, policies and regulations, related to the MOSA and the MEHE, child rights and Caritas Lebanon child protection policy File all required reports regarding, attendance and discipline matters, violence, child abuse, child neglect, and severe medical or social evidence File all required reports regarding the MEHE and the MOSA, inventory system for all supplies, materials and equipment Display the highest ethical and professional behavior and serve as a role model standards when working with students, parents and school personnel. Dressing professionally, demonstrating the importance and relevance of learning, accepting responsibility, and demonstrating pride in the education profession Use effective presentation skills including appropriate vocabulary and examples, clear and legible visuals, and articulate and audible speech, using excellent written and oral French and Arabic skills when communicating with students, parents and teachers Supervise the instructional programs of the school, evaluating lesson plans and observing classes (teaching, as duties allow) on a regular basis to encourage the use of a variety of instructional strategies and materials consistent with research on learning and child growth and development Partner with teachers to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction and individual teacher performance Review curriculum development proposals, and shape a vision of academic success for all students based on students need Organize and supervise school activities and events, (school health, extracurricular and recreational activities, budget decisions, fundraising events…) Use data to make decisions about curriculum, assessment, instruction and all school improvement efforts Maintain positive, cooperative and mutually supportive relationships with students, staff and parents Keep the staff informed and seek ideas for the improvement of the school Conduct meetings, as necessary, for the proper functioning of the school: weekly meetings, monthly staff evaluation meetings, parents meetings… Business Skills Superior organizational and planning skills Must be a team player Outstanding writing, and data entry skills Strong problem analysis and assessment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Delegation of authority and responsibility Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office
