Infection Prevention & Control Trainer - (3 Positions)

Functions and responsibilities The trainer will be responsible of preparing and conducting infection prevention and control (IPC) trainings. The trainer is expected to provide a one day’s training on IPC at selected primary health care centers (PHCCs) located in different areas of IMC’s Health operations namely Beirut, North, and the South. The trainer should: Develop the objective, syllabus and agenda for the training Prepare the training materials and presentation in Arabic Cover the major IPC topics in primary health care namely hand hygiene, disinfection and sterilization, standard precautions, waste management, sharp disposal, injections, employee health, cleaning of facility and others Develop exercises and case studies to help participant understand and transfer knowledge to practice Prepare and correct training pre and post test Prepare follow up plan and guide IMC in implementing it Prepare training report based on IMC template Note: A minimum of 3 hours on site training is required. Minimum Qualifications Academic and professional         i.            Possession of a relative degree or certification in health specifically infection prevention and control Experience         i.            A minimum of two years of satisfactory working experience       ii.            Experience in designing and presenting training programs     iii.            Knowledge and relevant experience in infection prevention and control Language Good command of written and spoken Arabic and working knowledge of English/French
