Enumerators

Harasstracker is conducting a baseline study on attitudes towards sexual harassment in Lebanon. As part of the study a survey will examine individual people’s opinions.  This is a project-based short-term contract. Number of positions: 4 enumerators Salary: 300$ Period of employment: 4 days over one week or until quotas are filled Location: 2 different publicly accessible spaces in Beirut.   Purpose: The enumerators will be responsible for administering the survey and collecting data. The survey will take place in two different public spaces in Beirut.   Responsibilities: *Attend a half-day training and project briefing. *Be responsible for equipment provided. *Collaborate to ensure demographic quotas are met *Invite people to participate in the survey and ensure they understand terms of confidentiality and purpose. *Follow confidentiality and security procedures to ensure respondent privacy is protected *Report the number of surveys collected and any unusual situations to the team leader on a daily basis   Skills: *Good communication and interpersonal skills *Comfortable using technology (Android tablets and apps) *Proficiency in English, French, and Arabic *Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with a small team *No degree is required, however students studying or interested in gender and social sciences are encouraged to apply.
