About RUWAD HOKOUK (FR) Ruwad Houkouk FR, is working toward: 1) promoting the protection of stateless person by advocating for legal reforms and enactment of a comprehensive Nationality law, and modernizing the Personal Status Records law, and initiating a new law on Personal Status;  2) Strengthening access to justice for the refugees and stateless community living in remote rural areas. Both components complement each other and should lead to improve the humanitarian aspects of this population in terms of right to identity and to basic fundamental rights such as education, health, and work.   Project Objectives To reduce and prevent statelessness and promote legal protection for refugees and statteless persons in Lebanon. Improve access to legal protection for refugees and stateless persons  through direct provision of services, networking and monitoring of relevant actors, including public institutions.   Major Duties & Responsabilities Installing and configuring computer systems and other electronic devices, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solving technical and applications problems Setting up and configuration of the server and intranet between Beirut and Qobayat offices Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and Wifi & cable networks Provide Ruwad Houkouk with solutions to hardware, software, computer system problems and other related matters Setting a synchronized Data Backup system on a daily basis Monitoring all Licenses for software and antivirus. Troubleshooting system and network and other related electronic problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults Provide Ruwad Houkouk with best advice and technical step by step information in regards to IT related purchases and contracts and upgrade procedures Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues Maintains log of all enquiries in databases Responding from 8:00AM till 7:00Pm to call-outs from Ruwad Houkouk office in Beirut or in Qobayat concerning IT problems, errors, faults, and technical support Testing and evaluating new technology Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment and all other related devices Planning for new technical means and solutions in order to save and prove the work processes. Reporting all tasks done on weekly basis   Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field. At least 5 year of experiences in a related field. Strong Customer Service and Communication skills, including extensive technical and business written vocabulary, and ability to communicate calmly with irate and impatient customers. Ability to identify, research, and resolve common hardware and software issues Working Knowledge of Computer Hardware and Network Architecture and Infrastructures Experience with Microsoft operating systems (Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows XP), experience of other operating systems preferred, such as Novell, UNIX, Macintosh Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Excellent problem solving skills, including retaining and understanding complex technical issues, analysing situations based on incomplete information and symptoms, and logically and intuitively deducing and presenting likely and possible solutions. Excellent time management skills; management of aggressive and multiple deadlines Call centre experience preferred High level of professionalism Good command of English and Arab Good organizational skills, ability to determine priorities and great attention to detail Good communication skills, cultural sensitivity, flexibility, ability to improvise, team player. Ability to work productively under stress and in insecure and harsh environments while maintaining a sense of humor. Ability to travel to Qobayat Car is a must
