CONTEXTE L’IECD est un organisme de solidarité internationale créé en 1988 qui met en œuvre des projets de développement socioéconomique en partenariat avec des institutions locales. L’IECD intervient en particulier dans les domaines de la formation et de l’insertion professionnelle, de l’appui aux très petites entreprises et de l’accès à l’éducation et à la santé pour les personnes les plus vulnérables. Afin de garantir la qualité du projet « Education Réfugiés Syriens », au Liban, l’IECD a créé un poste de référent pédagogique qui interviendra de manière transversale sur les 4 centres actuels au Liban (Beyrouth, Tripoli, El Qaa + démarrage de Joun à la rentrée 2016/2017) et sur les éventuels nouveaux centres, en fonction des besoins des différentes équipes. MISSION Sous la responsabilité du Chef de projet (CdP), en étroite collaboration avec le coordinateur activités psychosociales et extrascolaires et les équipes des centres, le coordinateur pédagogique aura les missions suivantes : Elaboration et suivi du projet éducatif et de l’ingénierie pédagogique : participation à l’élaboration de la stratégie pédagogique ; suivi et évaluation des progrès des élèves, des objectifs et des activités ; révision, élaboration et mise à jour du matériel pédagogique et des guides pédagogiques. Accompagnement et encadrement des équipes : participation au recrutement et accompagnement à la prise de poste, analyse des difficultés et des besoins de formation des équipes, organisation de formations de formateurs. Coordination avec les experts pédagogiques internes et externes. Travail de veille sur les politiques publiques et locales, et sur les outils et innovations pédagogiques et didactiques et participation aux réunions avec les NU, le Ministère de l’Education et autres partenaires. Appui au chef de projet dans le développement du projet : appui à l’organisation de réunions à destination des parents, préparation de dossiers de financements, identification de partenaires, activités de prospection et de mise en réseau avec les acteurs locaux, participation aux réunions avec le CdP, reporting auprès du CdP et à destination du siège et des financeurs, selon les besoins. LANGUE ET IT Maîtrise de l’arabe, du français et de l’anglaisMaitrise du pack office (Word, Excel, Power point…) EXPERIENCE4 ans minimum dans l’enseignement (obligatoire) ;2 ans minimum dans la coordination pédagogique/académique (obligatoire) ;Expérience dans la planification de curricula et syllabi scolaires (vivement souhaité) ; Expérience dans la formation d’enseignants (vivement souhaité) ;Expérience dans un cadre éducatif (non-formel) type ONG est un plus. It has been present in Lebanon since 1989. Today, IECD and its local partners implement several programs for vocational training, access to education, support to small enterprises and health care projects. In the field of educational support for refugee children, IECD, together with local partners, has been running 3 informal educational centers throughout regions in Lebanon affected by massive influx of Syrian refugees. The center in Beirut is open since 2007 for vulnerable children especially non-schooled refugee children or those who have a high risk of dropping out of schools. More than 1400 children (from 5 to 16) already benefited from basic primary education or remedial, as well as recreational activities and psychosocial support. MISSION Under the direct supervision of the project manager and in close collaboration with the psychosocial and extracurricular activities coordinator and the team members, the pedagogical coordinator will be in charge of: Implementation and follow-up of the educational project and the instructional design: participation in the implementation of the educational strategy; monitoring and evaluation of the student’s progresses, the objectives and the activities; reviewing, implementing and updating the pedagogical material and the educational guides. Team tutoring and supervision: participation in the recruitment and tutoring the integration of new staff, analyzing the difficulties and the team training needs, organizing trainings for trainers. Coordination with internal and external pedagogical experts. Public and local policies watch and monitoring on tools and pedagogical and educational innovations; attending meetings with the UN, the Ministry of Education and other partners. Supporting the project manager in the development of the project: supporting the organization of meetings with parents, preparation of financing proposals, identification of the potential partners, prospection activities and networking with local actors, attending meetings with the project manager, reporting to the project manager and to the headquarters and the donors, according to the needs. PROFILE Languages and IT: Fluent in Arabic, French and English Excellent command of the pack office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience: 4 years minimum as a teacher (mandatory) 2 years minimum as a pedagogical/academic coordination (mandatory) Experience in curricula planning and teaching syllabuses (highly desired) Experience in training for teachers (highly desired) Experience in educational setting (non-formal, NGO) is an asset Expected skills and qualities: - Accompaniment capacities, outstanding listener - Good interpersonal qualities - Strong organizational and team working skills - Strong autonomy and sense of initiative - Strong adaptability - Good management and administration skills - Rigorous and organised - Excellent writing and reporting skills (French and English) - Adhesion to the values of IECD: a focus on the person, a principle of service, a professional commitment
