Compliance Officer

  Review payment request documentations in order to follow payment process.   Maintain uncleared cash advance file and prepare past due advance report for the Finance Manager.   Prepare cheque and wire transfer requests based on fully approved documents and present to approved check-signers for review and signature.   Review OFDA sub grantee financial reports and follow up on sub grant compliance issues, maintain sub grant financial files, process sub grantee payments and reconcile sub grant tracking sheet with general ledger reports, in coordination with the OFDA Program Manager and agreed-upon SOPs.   Maintain benefits accrual documentation and prepare monthly benefits forms and payment. Maintain income tax, residential tax and VAT documentation and prepare reports, forms, and payments as per Lebanese Law requirements. Coordinate on regular basis with external tax consultant and follow up on law updates.   Perform daily cash count with the Finance Assistant.   Prepare bank payment vouchers and ensure that all bank transactions are properly and fully documented.   Ensures compliance with RI Procurement, Field Accounting, Donor and Audit requirements and procedures.   Ensures preparation of Field Office Financial documents for external and internal audits.    Perform other duties as needed.
