Social Enterprises Incubator Coordinator

The "Social Enterprises Incubator Coordinator" will be helping in the management of the work space in the center in order to make sure that the facilities and spaces are being used in the best capacity. This will require the creativity of the Coordinator in coming up with space management and project management ideas. The candidate will have to: Be able to manage the working space at SHIFT through maintaining a well communicated calendar of events, timetable of facilities reservations, training schedules and related activities.  Monitor the activities taking place in SHIFT and directing the colleagues with the right approach. Follow up on the initiatives implemented at SHIFT to make sure they fulfill donor requirements and achieve impact goals. Be up-to-date with the daily logistics of the center; keep track of the list of office materials and utilities, purchase as needed and report purchase orders. Help in developing SHIFT through exploring social entrepreneurship avenues and suggest pioneering ideas to partners. Spread the center spirit and vibe through online platforms such as Facebook and other social media outlets as relevant. Initiate creative ways to interact with the stakeholders especially vulnerable communities residing in the neighborhood of the center. Experience: Required -      Strong written and verbal communication skills in English including report writing. Arabic is a plus but not a requirement. -      Ability to deal with diverse populations and respect cultural sensitivities. -      Excellent interpersonal, time management and problem solving skills. - Ability to work under minimal supervision. -      Knowledge of Word, Excel and Google drive applications   This position is open for foreign interns who seek to learn more about peace building and creating alternatives to extremism among refugee and host communities in one of the most vulnerable areas of the Middle East known for high poverty rates, unemployment and dropout rates. An ideal candidate would be a graduate student researching in the aforementioned topics or practitioner in the field of social entrepreneurship for conflict transformation. Basic transportation fees and pocket money would be provided along with free shared accommodation. Details to be discussed upon selection.
