Business Development Service (Bds) - Training Coordinator/coaching

Line Manager: Livelihood Project Manager (LPM) Key functions of the profile sought: The BDS Training Coordinator or Coaching shall be in charge of the organization, coordination and monitoring of the training activities within a regional program to promote economic livelihoods, resilience and social cohesion of Syrian refugee populations and host communities in Turkey, Lebanon and KRG. Coordination of training activities, with partners and beneficiaries: Elaborate trainings curricula to match and respond to the project needs and priorities Elaborate the training methodology, materials and sessions plans targeting the Syrian refuges and hosting communities; Develop trainings, learning modules, mentoring, and coaching tools, coordinating with the trainers; Collect, systematize and organize all the material handed-out during the courses, and make it available for future reference; At the end of each set of trainings, the Training Coordinator systematizes and makes available all the material for the participants. Effective supervision, monitoring and evaluation Supervise the implementation of the monitoring tools and assess feasibility regarding conducted training; Monitor and reassess the field situation on regular basis, eventually recommending amendments to the implementation approach with the supervision of LPM; Elaborate and design trainings curricula, training methodology to match and respond to the project needs; Develop a monitoring methodology that will focus on data collection; Provide follow up and coaching for training participants; Ensure proper documentation of all training sessions and prepare training reports as required. Communications and information flow: Coordinates with and ensures linkages and synergies among COSV programs in the region; Assist the LPM in writing down briefings on project achievements and documents, synthesize best practices and lessons learnt to be shared with partners, staff, donor as well as external partners; Define the ad-hoc consultancies needed to support the coaching process according to the needs of the specific beneficiaries group; Support the LPM in identifying and selecting the ad-hoc consultants to be employed during the training and coaching phases Experience required: Bachelor’s university degree preferably in Development Studies, Humanitarian Affairs, Conflict Resolution, Political or Social Science, International Relations, Psychology or a related field from an accredited academic institution; Full proficiency in English is a must. Knowledge of Turkish and/or Arabic languages will be preferred; At least 2 years of work experience in a similar position, dealing with at least one of the following topics:            - Economic integration and social cohesion of refugee communities;           - Market analysis, job-market promotion and relevant policy-making;           - Social enterprise modelling in post-conflict environments;           - Capacity building, VETs and liaison with institutional bodies;           - Business development in Middle East and/or Turkey Strategic capacity to analyse complex environments, assessing risks and needs from a variety of sources; Proved Experience on M&E, assessment and data collection; Proven record of training delivery and similar experiences; Report writing skills Strong ability to organize work, meeting deadlines, prioritize work under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail. Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Cultural sensitivity and adaptability. High interpersonal skills with a strong attitude towards problem solving and team work; Background knowledge of the Syrian crisis, its impact and core challenged at regional level.
