JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Reporting Coordinator will be based in Beirut (Lebanon) or Amman (Jordan) regional office, and will work closely with the Regional Director based in Amman (Jordan); the Country Directors of region ME; the Desk team in the UK HQ; the Desk team in the US HQ; and the Director of Emergency Operations in UK HQ (managing the donor relationship with DFID) to support the implementation of DFID regional and organizational funding strategy. The post holder will assist in the identification of funding opportunities, support programme teams to submit successful funding proposals, and coordinate donor relationship and reporting requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function with or without reasonable accommodation.1- Grant Management:- Manage the reporting process on a portfolio of grants relating to regional programmes, including DFID.- Manage donor relations for existing and new grants, including negotiating grant contracts as required and regularly communicating with donor Advisors on the Field- Ensure the Finance Department has all relevant information to provide accurate financial reports once a new contract has been agreed and that programme teams have built reporting deadlines into their work plans.- Support programme teams and work with the Finance Department to prepare timely and accurate narrative and financial reports in line with contractual requirements.- Ensure the funding database is kept up to date and all records of contracts and reports are accessible- Work closely with relevant teams to set up systems for effective fundraising and grant management- Work with UK HQ, Split & field teams on realignments and foreseeing potential changes including under/overspendings- Develop and provide informal updates to DFID and other donors on their programs as necessary.
2- Fundraising- Ensure programme staff are aware of funding opportunities and deadlines- Work with colleagues across the organization to coordinate the preparation of high quality funding proposals, including logical frameworks and budgets as required, ensuring that donor requirements and guidelines are understood and met.- Stay up-to-date with new fundraising developments through internal networking and in the sector, attending events and reading relevant donor reports.- Maintain an accurate database of current and prospective donors, funding applications and their outcomes.
3- Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting- Provide direct oversight of grants (including DFID) across the region, ensuring that program activities are on target in each country;- Provide technical assistance to the teams working on DFID and other donors’ third party monitoring- Coordinates the preparation of SOPs and other documents across the region under the supervision of the Regional Director- Support the effective monitoring and evaluation of grants- Contribute to the organizational process for effective monitoring, evaluation and learning
4- Compliance & Ethics:- Promotes and encourages a culture of compliance and ethics throughout International Medical Corps. As applicable to the position, maintains a clear understanding of International Medical Corps’ and donor compliance and ethics standards and adheres to those standards. QUALIFICATIONS
