Project Officer

The role of the Project officer is to plan, execute, and finalize the project according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party stakeholders in order to achieve objectives according to time line and plan. The Project officer will oversee quality control throughout the project’s life cycle. The project is to be implemented in one public school in Antelias. The project is a feeding program for students in 1st and 2nd shifts. A similar feeding program is also being implemented in Aley community center and the project officer should follow up on both projects. Close coordination with the school director Close collaboration with the CC manager Selection of the ladies who will be preparing the food in coordination with the school director Organize the food safety training Plan the meals and the needed ingredients Report on a daily basis Close coordination with the logistic officer Report to the main office on a daily basis Preparation of payment requests related to project management Cash and Check management in close collaboration with other team members. Monitoring of the execution of the project on the field Monthly/weekly Reporting (or more if necessary) to the project manager or to donors. Participation in coordination meetings, prepare minutes of meeting Support staff in assigned project based work. Other duties as assigned by management Receive and accompany donors to field visits when needed Monitoring of the data base entry and have it updated Managing the stock and sending lists of updated stock
