Deputy Manager For Water Program

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support the coordination of a water infrastructure and management program; Monitoring and evaluation of activities conducted on the field by partners of the project; Water policy analysis; Support the relations with Water Establishments and Ministry of Water; Data collection and data analysis from surveys conducted on the field; Production of capitalisation documents; Production of press releases and communication documents; Organise stakeholders meeting at local and regional level for the implementation of project activities; Responsible for timely implementation of project activities Liaise and communicate with target communities and local authorities as appropriate and in coordination with the Program Manager Follow-up of activities implemented with local associations Participate in planning surveys and awareness campaigns; To Report to Local Coordinator whatever problem could arise in the implementation of GVC activities Supporting in the identification and elaboration of new project proposals;   QUALIFICATIONS University and MSc degree; At least 3 years of working experience with at least one year in sector related to governance and public services provision for Development Projects; Driving licence; PERSONAL AND INTER-PERSONAL SKILLS Arabic and Fluency in written and spoken English Good communication skills Understanding of and commitment to humanitarian principles and values Highly organised and able to work respecting deadlines Strong sense of responsibility Ability to work independently while at the same time cooperating with other staff members as well as beneficiaries Deep knowledge of rural areas of Bekaa and North Lebanon would be considered an asset Being flexible and with the ability to adjust to changes and new requirements / Ability to multitask
