Première Urgence - Aide Médicale Internationale (PU-AMI) is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious humanitarian NGO. Its objective is to bring about a global response to the basic needs of populations suffering from acute humanitarian crisis and to allow them to recover their autonomy and dignity.   Today, PU-AMI is intervening in 18 countries in Africa, the Middle-East, Caucasus and Asia to cover the needs of populations affected by conflict, natural disasters or economic crises.   PU-AMI in Lebanon has been implementing emergency and recovery projects in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, in Shelter Rehabilitation, Health and in Livelihood Recovery sectors.   POSITION GENERAL INFORMATION   Position: Targeting Team Leader Component: Quality Based in: Beirut/ Mount Lebanon   Supervision   Under the supervision of:                       Targeting Manager Supervision of  :                                            10 to 12 targeting field officers/workers Under the overall supervision of:         Project Quality Coordinator (PQC)     OVERALL MISSION   General objective   The main objective of the targeting exercise is to survey the eligibility status of Syrian refugees in Lebanon to the WFP e-cards program. This survey will also provide a multi-sectorial overview of the vulnerability situation of Syrian refugees in Mount Lebanon.   Under the direct supervision of the Targeting Manager, the Targeting Team Leader is responsible for the qualitative, quantitative and timely implementation of the Targeting activities. He/she coordinates and monitors the work of all Field Officers and Field Workers dedicated to these activities, and is in charge of the administrative management of his/her team.         Responsibilities and tasks   4  Assessment: He/She will follow up implementation of all targeting exercise-related activities. 4  Human Resources: He/She will manage the team of officers under his/her responsibility 4  Logistics and Administration: He/She will administratively and logistically manage the targeting team and operational requests 4  Safety and Security: He/She will assist in following safety and security rules on-base and will transmit all safety and security information to the targeting Manager.     Specific objectives and linked activities   1.      Planning and managing the work of the targeting staff 4  Organise and plan the work of the targeting Field Officers/Workers on a daily basis 4  Ensure a good communication with the operational teams on daily preparation of targeting activities, implementation and results 4  Manage, lead by example and provide advice, mentorship and guidance to the team under his/her responsibility 4  Be responsible for the proper storage of data and for the management of the data-collection tools (i.e. tablets)   2.      Internal and external reporting 4  Ensure that the lists of beneficiaries are prepared, cleaned and accurate 4  Ensure that the data collected by the verification team are accurate and cross-checked in a timely manner 4  Contribute in drafting qualitative analysis reports, detailing the activity and the challenges of the project, as well as participating in the data analysis 4  Ensure the respect of our guidelines by the field teams, immediately notifying his/her manager in case of questions/challenges faced on the field 4  Ensure accountability towards the donor   3.      Organization & Follow-up 4  Implement and follow up with the verification section activities, in direct collaboration with the targeting Manager of the base 4  Design and update tools to follow-up on the work of targeting Field teams 4  Ensure proper coordination and liaison with the program department     The tasks and responsibilities defined in this job description are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on the project needs.   QUALIFICATIONS   Mandatory requirements Language skills: Fluent in Arabic and English (speaking/reading/writing) Education degree: University degree in social science or another relevant field Work experience: At least 1 year experience working for an NGO in an implementation or evaluation team Knowledge & skills: Good analytical and writing skills / Good team leadership spirit/Good understanding of humanitarian ethics Computer skills: -         Good knowledge of the MS Office software (including Word, Excel, Outlook) -         Good knowledge of statistical software is a strong plus (Stata or SPSS) Other: -          Pedagogical skills -          Good knowledge of humanitarian actors and donors -          Mandatory Driving License -          Good knowledge of Beirut and Mount Lebanon areas and geography   Assets Interest: -       Strong motivation to help people in need -       Understanding of the political situation in the area -       Understanding of humanitarian action core principles -       Willing to travel across all districts in Mount Lebanon   Transversal skills: -       Well organized and attention to details -       Conflict resolution and diplomacy experience -       Ability to analyse and suggest improvement -       Autonomy, neutrality, hard worker -       Able to manage stress and pressure -       Ability to work within a team.
