MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES The Supervisor will be responsible of daily supervision of ACF FSL department's livelihood activities in Baalbek-Hermel area (with possible extension to other areas in Bekaa and South). The supervisor will be tasked to supervise 6 field officers to ensure their weekly tasks are accomplished in a quality manner and problems encountered during the implementation are referred to the Head of Project. KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Desirable knowledge in agriculture,  food security and livelihoods, engineering 2 years experience in working in humanitarian and development organizations, previous experience with  Livelihoods programs desired Good team worker, good listener, high communication skills Context analysis Flexibility Problem solving skills Good skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and good skills with smartphones DETAILED OBJECTIVES AND TASKS Objective 1 : To ensure timely and quality implementation of livelihoods activities To support the Head of Project (HoP) in designing the beneficiary selection process *** To supervise the field officers in the beneficiary selection process on a daily basis and to actively support the process *** To ensure coordination of activities with the staff of the municipalities in targeted areas and to communicate any issues with the HoP *** To supervise the field officers in conduction the livelihood activities (imput distribution, trainings, set up, maintenance, monitoring, reporting...) *** To actively support ACF's implementing partner in conduction their livelihood activities in the area *** To represent HoP on daily encounters with other program stakeholders *** To provide verbal and written reports on the activities to the HoP on the agreed frequency Objective 2 : To ensure timely and quality implementation of other food security and livelihood activites assigned to him/her To organize community meetings, focus group discussions and assessments to identify the needs of the host and refugee populations upon the request of HoP *** To support the implementation of other food security and livelihoods activities upon request of HoP *** To provide the HoP with technical imput in the design of other FSL related trainings and actively engage in their implementation *** To supprt the HoP in the planning of FSL program items *** To supervise the field officers in implementing the distribution plans and to actively engage in the process *** To provide verbal and written reports on the activities to the HoP at the agreed frequency. Objective 3 : To support other humanitarian activities of ACF upon the request of the HoP To support the emergency interventions of ACF upon the request of HoP *** To support ACF assessment and monitoring activities of ACF upon the request of HoP *** To attend meetings with local municipalities, farmers's cooperatives, benefiairies and  non-beneficiaries upon the request of the HoP Objective 4  : Security Respect the security rules specified in the mission and base security plan, see to it that the team under his/her responsibility complies with the security plan and perform the security management tasks that can be assigned in its protocols ** Communicate to the security managers of the working location any security related information or non-compliance with the security plan Objective 5: Others Respect ACF Charter and Internal rules *** Be committed to participate to any other work assigned by your line manager in order to achieve the project goals *** Support emergency interventions, as per the employee's capacities ** Support any activity that helps achieving ACF humanitarian goals, as per the employee's capacities.
