 ABAAD-Resource Center for Gender Equality  GBV Case Management Supervisor JOB PROFILE   JOB TITLE:   GBV Case Management (CM) Supervisor LOCATION: Beirut with regular travels to: North (Akkar), Bekaa (North, West and Central), and South Lebanon JOB DESCRIPTION ABAAD is a non-profit, non-politically affiliated, non-religious civil association that aims to achieve gender equality as an essential condition to sustainable social and economic development in the MENA region. ABAAD seeks to promote women's equality and participation through policy development, legal reform, and gender mainstreaming, engaging men, eliminating discrimination, and advancing and empowering women to participate effectively and fully in their communities. ABAAD also seeks to support and collaborate with civil society organizations that are involved in gender equality programs and advocacy campaigns. Job Purpose The GBV CM Supervisor is responsible to ensure appropriate supervision, support, monitoring and on the job coaching for the Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) Case Managers and to ensure quality case management service provision.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES GBV Case Management Ensure supervision and coaching for WGSS Case Workers working with women survivors of GBV and those at risk- beneficiaries at the WGSS; Manage, coach and orient the GBV Case Workers; Coordinate the work of case workers in their respective regions and ensure that work is completed according to guidelines and standards; Ensure all Case Management related M&E tools are utilized, information collected, analyzed and actions taken to ensure quality service provision; Supervise and monitor individual and collective action plans/safety plans for beneficiaries developed by Case Workers; Support and provide guidance to case workers on complex cases – as needed; Ensure proper documentation of cases and follow-up processes; Partake in staff meetings and monthly evaluation meetings; Collect, compile and analyze monthly reports from the  team and submit to central level; Work closely with the WGSS PM  on all issues related to programs and activities; Participate and ensure participation of case workers in peer-to-peer or other capacity building initiatives implemented at the sector level; Other duties as assigned by the manager and ABAAD Director.   Coordination Organize  individual weekly and monthly meetings with WGSS Case Managers Ensure participation in Field level case management coordination meetings Gather feedback at the national and community level and share information with supervisor  SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: University Degree (BA) in social work; Minimum Five-year’ experience in similar position; Extensive experience in GBV case management and working with non-government organization is a must Experience in GBV programming, and demonstrated gender sensitivity; Good organizational and prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure; Leadership, problem solving, and negotiation skills; Strong inter-personal and team working skills including the ability to manage liaise and communicate with team members; Demonstrated capacity to take initiative and pay attention to details; Flexibility, dynamic; initiative-taking; Ability to react to emergency situation and trouble-shoot crisis situation as needed; Ability to plan workloads and demonstrate accountability for outputs; Experience of working in/with non-government organizations; Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English are essential- French is a plus; Show full respect for ABAAD Code of Conduct and its PSEA Policy   APPLICATION PROCEDURES: Interested candidates in this position should send their CV along with a cover letter to HR@abaadmena.org and dalal.ouesse@abaadmena.org and include the job title above in the email subject by June 5, 2017. Applications received after the closing date will not be considered.  Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
