Junior Software Developer

Job purpose   Makhzoumi Foundation is a dynamic environment that requires an agile process of software development in order to cope with the rapidly changing business requirements. Most of the MISs used are internally developed, and always need debugging, maintenance, and adding features. The junior developer will be handed specific tasks, to, either update an existing solution/Report, or design and develop new ones. The Junior Software Developer is involved in all areas of development from design to development to testing.   Duties and responsibilities   Designs,    develops    and    modifies    modules    based    on    functional    and    system    requirements.  Assisting in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates. Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software. Package and support deployment of releases. Analyzing and resolving technical and application problems.      Work closely with the IT team members. Participate in software testing before any release.   Qualifications   Education University degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent. Must be able to have working demos of university or side projects. Specialized knowledge SDLC, Software Development design paradigms. Mobile development knowledge or previous experience is an asset. Solid understanding of object oriented programming concepts Solid understanding of relational database design and querying concepts Skills .Net (ASP MVC, Winforms) Full LAMP stack HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, & JQuery. Knowledge in Laravel and Eloquent is a plus. IIS and Apache webservers MSSQL, MySQL Crystal Reports SSRS Abilities Work under pressure Team worker Readiness to go the extra mile Punctual Perform secondary tasks. I.e. Mass Mail/SMS, Attendance System enrollment, Website content Adding/Removing/Updating.
