Nurse Aid Teacher

Job Description   Nurse aid teacher are responsible for teaching students at high school level the basics of nursing and first aid. They guide and assist students in their entire learning experience, including welcoming them to the class, creating a curriculum and presenting all class information. Nurse aid teachers specifically teach their students about the basics of nursing such as CPR and dealing with a heart attack, airway obstruction for babies, children and adults, poisoning, fainting, bleeding, bones fractures, wounds and amputation, introduction to using first aid kit, intramuscular injection, ambulatory medicines, difference between heart attack and fainting, types of burns 
   Job Duties   Preparing the curriculum and presenting the material to his or her class is one of the main duties of a teacher. Nurse aid teachers complete many other general tasks as well, such as tracking attendance, assigning homework, grading assignments, giving feedback and communicating effectively with students. Other tasks that teachers may complete include ensuring that class materials are up to date, reviewing curriculum and demonstrating professionalism in dealing with others.  Nurse aid teachers must also be responsible for reporting to the school’s supervisor.
