Lebanon Water Project (LWP) Scope of Work Project Assistant, Long term position Background: DAI seeks Project Assistant candidates for the USAID-funded “Lebanon Water Project (LWP).” This five-year project will work to increase reliable and sustainable access to potable water for Lebanese citizens; improve water management practices and enhance the efficiency and sustainability of public water utilities, while raising awareness on sustainable water use practices and promote better water governance to help assure long-term protection of Lebanon’s water resources. General Objective: The Project Assistant will provide support to the project technical and administration teams. Responsibilities: Review project documents and official correspondence to ensure consistency in style and formatting. Prepare correspondences in both English and Arabic Interface as appropriate with parties passing through or using the project office. File and track documents and correspondence. Help prepare materials for meetings and coordinate conference, workshop, and training activities, as needed. Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field. Previous work experience in office administration, preferably on a donor-funded project. Good analytical and organizational skills. Excellent English and Arabic verbal and written skills.
