Reports to the Executive Director to ensure that the Projects activities operate within the grants requirements.
Project Coordination
Assist the Executive Director in the implementation of the overall Projects implementation and ensure that tasks are delivered on time and within the budget limits.
Plan and schedule Project timelines and execution strategies.
Assists the Executive Director in the development of the programs/projects reports and the reporting to the donor.
Conduct meetings for follow up, coordination and evaluation.
Monitor the budgets related to projects.
Monitors, evaluates and reports on the Project implementation.
Coordinates with Trainers and participates in all coordination meeting to set the curriculum.
Coordinates with researcher to conduct the manual training and field study.
Assist in organizing fundraising activities and writing proposals for Programs/Projects funding.
Media & PR
Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies;
Liaising with media and key spokespeople;
Liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations.
Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media;
Collating and analyzing media coverage;
Preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes;
Devising and coordinating photo opportunities;
Maintaining and updating information on the organization’s website;
Managing and updating information and engaging with users on social media sites.
Fostering community relations through events such as open days and through involvement in community initiatives;
Financial Management & Administration
Manage the petty cash and the operational cash account in accordance with MEPI LAA cash management procedures.
Maintain Fiscal stamps custody and usage.
Responsible of creating and updating the inventory list, including counting, numbering, and reporting.
Manages property count including mobile phones, SIM cards, cameras, USB and video camera.
Update personnel manual and forms as needed.
Maintain LAA legal documents.
Procurement
Handles all procurement related matters, including purchase requests, purchase orders, bids, collection of invoices, making sure that goods were received according to request.
Update procurement procedures as needed.
Experience
University degree with minimum five years professional experience in project management and administration procedures, prior experience with international, bilateral or multilateral organization preferred;
Excellent English & Arabic language skills written and spoken;
Excellent interpersonal skills, must be able to interact in a mature, professional and friendly manner with local and international colleagues of differing religious and cultural backgrounds;
Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently and under pressure.
