We are looking for a highly qualified candidate to assist us in the administration/ HR department in Akkar.
Who are we?
DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.
DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.

About the job
To contribute with the necessary support to the administration and the human resources department and help in improving the system.
Duties
• Follow up contracts of the staff, lease agreements of the expats and the premised.
• Follow up IDs for the staff and the coverage of medical insurance
• Ensure the completion of the employees and volunteers files (hard and soft copies)in an organized manner.
• Assist with the different tasks concerning the recruitment of new staff& volunteers and their registration in NSSF.
• Update recruitment tracker on a daily basis and keep track of changes.
• Assist in the calculation of the monthly payroll.
• Assisting in the preparation of OR concerning the office supplies and equipment for the office.
• Support on following up on DRC staff and visitors’ travel and accommodation.
About you
To be successful in this role you must have a Bachelor degree in Business Administration/Management/HR or any related field, at least 2 years of experience in Admin and HR. You should also be well organized, flexible, transparent and have good communicated and team work skills.
Ideally you will also have previous experience in NGO.
We offer
An interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 6 months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from May 2016 and be willing and able to work in Tripoli.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. This position will be placed at level B1, equivalent to 1,250 USD per month.
