Part-Time English And Computer Teacher

The Migrant Community Center in Saida (MCC Saida) is looking for a qualified, experienced and motivated teacher to teach six classes per week at the center. The candidate should be able to deliver engaging and interesting lessons. The candidate should preferably live in Saida or nearby areas. Responsibilities Teaching 3 English classes and 3 basic computer literacy classes per week (each class is 1.5 hours) to 18 students per class Preparing lesson plans in a timely manner Assisting MCC Saida coordinator in sustaining and developing the educational program at MCC Saida Total working hours per week: 15 hours Desired qualifications Fluent in English A working proficiency in Arabic Basic knowledge in teaching methods and lesson preparation Ability to deliver lessons in a creative, interesting, and practical matter Degree/diploma in education is a plus Experience Experience in teaching adults is desirable At least 1 year of ESL teaching experience is a plus Experience in teaching English literacy is a plus Experience in working with underprivileged communities is a plus Remuneration The post duration lasts from September 2016 to December 2016 (renewable). A stipend of $300/month will be provided.
