About our Organization  Founded in 2011, Peace Labs is a Lebanese nongovernmental organization focused on transforming conflict by empowering communities and building peace on the local level. The name Peace Labs derives from our approach to peacebuilding: we are constantly collecting data, analyzing our work, and learning from our findings. Duties of Programs Director  Management    Oversee peacebuilding projects in the North and in in the Beqaa Valley     Provide direct support to project managers     Oversee personally some projects in the absence of a project manager     Provide some capacity building to project staff     Conduct frequent field visits     Ensure appropriate recording and accounting documentation as required by Peace Labs and donors.  Programming and fundraising    Identify potential new projects and develop ideas into project proposals including logical frameworks and budget.     Identify potential growth areas, both geographically and programmatically  Strategy    Implement Peace Labs’ strategy and contribute to its evolution     Assist the Executive Director in developing programs and organizational strategy  Representation and PR    Attend working groups with other local and international NGOS and United Nations agencies working in the same regions as Peace Labs.     Support the director when liaising with donors and promoting the work of Peace Labs. Monitoring and Reporting Oversee and support M&E systems for multiple projects     Draft mid-term and final narrative reprorts Assist in creation of finacnail reports    Track project implementation and document progress towards the achievement of outputs Provide reporting and other support  Skills and Qualifications     A minimum of 5 years of Program Management experience    Demonstrated expertise in conflict management, peacebuilding, or social stability programing    Ideal candidate would have a master’s degree in IR or Peace and conflict studies, and a background in management.    Advanced skills working with log frames and budget    Deep knowledge of peacebuilding and social stability programing    Excellent written and spoken English     Excellent written and spoken Arabic    Familiarity with the aid system, and understanding of donor and governmental requirements    Knowledge of M&E Systems     Deep understanding of the Lebanese political context.
