Job definition
The prevention program coordinator will be responsible for planning, development and implementing the prevention program plans and actions at various levels.
Main Responsibilities
- To participate in the development of the prevention program as a member of the organization’s prevention committee
- To prepare the detailed action plan of all prevention activities
- To organize the implementation and evaluation of all prevention activities, including the preparation of all needed materials and tools
- To coordinate the relations with various resources asking for prevention actions in different settings such as schools, universities, NGOs, parishes, governmental agencies, communities, municipalities and other institutions.
- To participate in research
- To undertake other responsibilities according to management requirements.
Education
The candidate should hold a BA in Education, Public Health, Social Work or Psychology. A Master degree is a plus.
Experience
A minimum of three years experience in jobs related to substance abuse and addiction recovery and prevention, teaching or management in schools, youth counseling, social work, community institutions, NGO programs or educational organizations. Member of Scout, Christian movement or Red Cross is a plus.

. Computer skills: Competent in using Word, Excel and Power Point
